Frances McDonnell for Agriland details the busiest ever-year for the The Land Mobility Service.

The success of The Land Mobility Service has seen the service grow and have facilitators in place to deal with inquiries from landowners, farmers and potential farmers.

Inquiries have never been as high as in 2022, along with 586 engagements in the same year.

This was done by providing an “honest broker” type service – which is confidential – to match farmers or landowners interested in long leases, partnerships, share farming or contract rearing with other farmers.
