Stamping Land Leases

Land and farm leases are required to be registered and stamped with Revenue. Following registration, Revenue issue a Digital Lease Stamp Cert.

As part of farm cross compliance, scheme access, herd number applications and herd status changes (adding a person, forming a partnership, forming a company),
the Department of Agriculture require Stamp Certs for all leases.

Stamping and Revenue Registering of leases is a service The Land Mobility Service provides. We can do this whether, as facilitators, we have been involved in the lease process or not.

To support long term land leasing; Stamp Duty Relief applies where the lease term is six years or more. The stamp duty rate for such leases is 0%.
