The Land Mobility Service is the foremost service in Ireland for the provision of succession planning advice and exploring options with landowners and farm families.

The service is Expert, Confidential and Independent. The service has the knowledge and experience to explain options and provide solutions in all circumstances. Since its inception, this nationwide service has facilitated more than 1,000 arrangements.

The Department of Agriculture advice grant is in recognition of the need for landowners and farm families to obtain relevant and independent advice and help as to succession planning and options for their farm. This is the Land Mobility Service area of expertise. The service will assist with Tax Planning, BPS / BISS EU Entitlement Protection, Income Protection, Farming Systems and matching potential collaborators.

The Land Mobility Service team includes accountancy, tax, legal, farming and scheme expertise coupled with vast facilitation support.

Numerous studies have shown the need for supported facilitation and the importance of expert advice in succession planning, hence the reason for this very worthwhile grant scheme. The scheme will support farmers / landowners aged over 60, to the tune of 50% of advice and support costs up to a maximum of €1,500.

Working with The Land Mobility Service will ensure you receive expert and relevant advice and qualify for grant support.
